A business leader in Lake Como, New Jersey, Edgar Alacan has a wealth of experience in the aviation industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Brooklyn College Murray Koppelman School of Business in New York City. Edgar Alacan’s areas of study included marketing, managerial finance, and international business.
After working for a year as a private jet coordinator with Concord Private Jets, Mr. Alacan cofounded the company and website Jets.com in 2008. As managing director of this New York City-based private jet charter and rental company, he oversees a staff of more than 40 employees to develop product offerings and marketing outreach while balancing cost-effective operations with strict quality standards.
Since 2013, Edgar Alacan has also sat on the board of directors of the charitable nonprofit PietrosFight. Based in Staten Island, New York, PietrosFight is committed to increasing awareness of and raising research funds to fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
